Would be kinda cool - two of my favorite brands under one roof (FI AT and Hyundai)...now if only I can convince them to kill off the 500L and 500X and bring the Panda over....

That's already been in existence for years now. It's called the Renegade.

Though the Renegade is on a different platform and is considerably larger.

Is there? If so though, it won’t look anywhere as nice as the Panda if it’s Jeepified... :/

I prefer the Panda’s clean, simple inoffensive looks by far.

A merger like that makes more sense than when Mergio proposed FCA should merge with GM.

A GM/FCA merger makes me gag. Hyundai/FCA at least gives me hope that the American-ness of Dodge and the quirkiness of the Italian companies would remain:

There’s also a curious correlation between high-ranking personnel within the two companies. Paul Singer, who is in charge of fund management company Elliott Management, is a major shareholder in Hyundai and also holds equities in Telecom Italia and the Italian soccer club AC Milan. Singer recently named FCA CEO of the EMEA region, Alfredo Altavilla, to the Telecom Italia board, Asia Times points out. Telecom Italia is the largest Italian telecommunications service provider.

If it’s based on the Panda Cross or Panda 4x4 and has a manual option I could consider it if it doesn’t look terrible.

That actually would make a lot of sense. Hyundai is taking a beating in sales for not having enough SUVs, and FCA makes almost nothing but.
